Look on my Go Company, ye Mighty, and Despair

I'm about 9 months into the development of MyShimari, a suite of personal Go tools, and I'm now very excited for Go to hit the mainstream.

Despite being one of the most popular board games in the world, Go has yet to capture the American imagination. It has, of course, been featured in some popular movies: last year, most notably, Knives Out used the game as a plot point. The rise in AI technology has generated some interest, and a few documentaries helped to explain the rules and convey thrilling human drama. But so far we've seen nothing like the appetite for Chess.

And yet it's inevitable that Go hits the mainstream. A popular streamer will become obsessed, or a Queen's Gambit style drama will get the masses interested. And when that happens – Mirth Turtle will be there. My software will be ready.

But in the meantime, can you please sign up for a membership? Money's running a bit low these days.
